EAST YORK- It looked much worse than it was, but luckily there were no major injuries in this vehicle crash. Firefighters were called in to extricate one occupant after the car lost control and crashed. It happened on Broadview Ave. and Gamble Ave. shortly after 4:00pm.

53, 54 and 55 Division Officers teamed up with OPP and RCMP officers in setting up a RIDE spot check last night. The initiative was supported by MADD and was setup on the Bloor St. viaduct. Officers hope to bring strengthen awareness to the dangers of drinking and driving.
