SCARBOROUGH – The 16 year-old boy who was ejected in a horrific crash this past weekend on Greencedar Dr. has passed away according to Sgt. Tim Burrows of Toronto Police Traffic Services.

The boy was one of five occupants in a Pontiac Sunfire that rolled over in the early hours of July 18th. Two other occupants were rushed to hospital but have since recovered.

The accident has raised some issues as the driver was under age and not licensed to drive. There was also speculation that he may have been trying to perform a stunt driving maneuver called ‘drifting’ although police have not confirmed that.
