SCARBOROUGH – Two young females were taken to local hospitals after a crash near Kennedy Commons in the Kennedy Rd. and Hwy. 401 area.

The collision happened at around 3:30am Sunday morning.

Toronto Police canine were called in to scour the area for the driver of one of the vehicles after he fled on foot.

No arrests were made and the injuries are believed to be non life-threatening.
