SCARBOROUGH – A stolen van was found early Saturday morning fully engulfed in flames in a hydro field.

Toronto Fire and Toronto Police responded to the call on Dewey Dr. in the Pharmacy Ave. and Ellesmere Rd. area at around 3am. When they arrived they found a minivan that appeared to have been deliberately set on fire.

It appears the suspects stole the van and drove it into the hydro field before setting it on fire.

No injuries were reported and the fire was safely put out by TFS.
