PORT LANDS – An individual was killed after a vehicle crashed violently against a parked truck on Villiers St. between Cherry St. and Don Roadway.

Toronto Fire Services responded to reports of a vehicle on fire at around 11:00pm Sunday evening. When they arrived they found the car fully engulfed in flames.

The driver had been burnt beyond recognition and Toronto Police are now trying to identify the body.

The investigation is ongoing.
