SCARBOROUGH – A woman is believed to have jumped from her car and into oncoming traffic yesterday at around 11:30pm.

She was then struck by another vehicle and suffered severe trauma.

This all happened at the McCowan Rd. and Sheppard Ave. E. intersection, in the city’s east end.

Police Traffic Services was called to the scene to investigate, as the victim was taken to Sunnybrook Hospital with serious injuries.
