WEST TORONTO – Firefighters battled a blaze this afternoon at 804 Bloor St. W.

They arrived to find a 3-storey building that includes an electronics store on the ground floor in flames, with heavy smoke billowing from the units.

The fire appears to have started in the rear deck and quickly spread through the building and adjacent buildings.

No injuries were reported, and there is no word on what may have caused the fire.

Residents of the upper units were visibly shaken up as they watched their precious belongings being destroyed. They were evacuated promptly by fire crews along with residents of neighbouring homes.
