ANNEX – A 25 year-old female has died after being struck by a vehicle early this morning in the Bloor St. W. and Bathurst St. area.

Reports indicate that the victim was at a street party on Lippincott St. when she lost balance and stepped onto the street.

She was taken to St. Michael’s hospital with severe head injuries, where she was pronounced dead later on.

The driver of the car was taken into custody and charges are likely to be laid.
