Police Cruiser Involved in Crash
February 17th, 2009 2:02pmA two vehicle accident involving a police cruiser at the intersection of Queen Street East and Woodbine Avenue early Tuesday morning sent the drivers of both vehicles to hospital with minor injuries.
Charges were later laid on the driver of the civilian vehicle in relation to the incident.
Police officers from 55 Division were on their way to a call when they collided with a station wagon, sending the cruiser into a bank.
There is no confirmation from Toronto Police officials on whether or not the officers had their lights and siren activated. The investigation will be ongoing to determine exactly what happened.
